Richard Marquis Rabit, Lapis and Pearl PIn

Denise has been involved in the process of making jewelry for over thirty years. Originally working and teaching in Los Angeles, then moving to the Pacific Northwest in the early 1990's.

Her new pieces incorporate murine glass pieces made by Richard Marquis. She met Richard several years ago and found that they have a lot in common, sharing an obsession with collecting Americana and found objects. 

Denise has always used found objects in her jewelry and believes they help tell a story. In her own words, "These objects remind us of our own memories and shared experiences. When I bezel a found treasure, it becomes more precious, and it can hold its own next to any gemstone."
