Creating the New Northwest: Selections from the Herb and Lucy Pruzan Collection

Herb and Lucy Pruzan began collecting art in 1958 and, after more than 50 years, the Pruzans’ collection now traces many of the major ideas and developments in Northwest art. Reflecting generational shifts and social change, their collection has grown to include a wide range of materials, objects, and aesthetic viewpoints and includes works by key Northwest artists of the second half of the 20th century.
