Rob Vetter

Rob Vetter lives in Seattle’s Rainier Valley surrounded by parks, playfields and Lake Washington, so it’s no wonder that his miniature landscapes evoke glimpses of the Northwest and remind us of recent strolls through the woods and walks by the water.

Vetter’s career officially began twenty years ago after getting a BFA in painting from WWU, but Rob’s passion for painting began long before that. A lover of the outdoors, most of his work is painted en plein air but his family man status has imbued in him an appreciation for modern technology. He credits the iPhone for letting him paint after sundown. While Rob paints scenery that he sees, he hopes his decision to leave his work unnamed enables the artwork to represent something different to every owner.

These little gems are oil paint on blocks of wood, and we recommend that they are kept out of direct sunlight.
