One-of-a-kind paintings from Tacoma artist Marit Berg. Marit’s paintings are figurative, yet highly imaginative and seemingly spontaneous. They are lush, free-flowing, and imbued with symbolism. Although she works in an expressive-realist style, she is not always concerned with representational space. These works emphasize her lifelong fascination with animals and the land. Each piece in this series is hand-painted oil on panel, signed and dated by the artist.
