Katie Dean

Katie Dean is a Tacoma based printmaker who loves vibrant color combinations and the use of natural themes as the foundation for her work. She loves sketching landscapes and botanicals and has recently started incorporating figures into her illustrations to express a broader. Her original block prints are created on a letterpress using oil-based inks, hand carved linoleum blocks and cotton paper. These originals are also used to create greeting cards, small matted reproductions and kitchen towels.
