Karen Hackenberg’s process in creating the Sea Tangle Suite of drawings (which are drawn on her iPad and printed on archival paper) is similar to that successfully utilized by David Hockney in his iPad landscape series. In both cases, the creation of the images resembles the process used by traditional printmakers to make hand-pulled prints where there is no original other than the print. Print comes matted and framed.
